Forethought for singing

For Singers the singing is just not the profession and interest, it is one of the most important aspect of their life, singing  is how they relate themselves to the world.

The lifestyle of a Singer varies widely. Singers work hard, they spend time writing songs, rehearsing songs, and working on their performance abilities. Touring takes a lot of time and energy, and can mean that the Singer is on the road more than they are at home. Most Singers perform at night, so staying up late is par for the course. All these problems and difficulties effects on singers' voice which may impact their popularity, their earnings, their fan following, their value and many other things.
To avoid these, singers must have proper diet, do not smoke, free from stress, not to talk over and many other things have to do to maintain their voice.

 DIET
Fresh food is always better for voice than processed food. They want to make sure that they eat enough to fill them up, but not so much that they are  feeling too full and therefore vomit or nauseous. It should be  balanced meal with protein to keep them going, and boosts energy level.

  SMOKING
According to research at the New York University Medical center, smoking and exposure to smoke irritate and dry the tissues of the throat, particularly the vocal cords. This leads to improper vocal cord vibration and function. Smoking also may promote acid reflux, which can affect the vocal cords. Finally, smoking degrades lung function, which affects the voice by decreasing airflow through the vocal cords.

  STRESS
Stress can strain your voice, as tension in the muscles of the neck and upper body can change the shape of the larynx slightly, and can cause the vocal cords to constrict. This can change the voice so that it becomes higher than usual. Occasionally, when people are under severe stress, one of the effects on the body can be a complete inability to make sound. This is not a problem that arises in the vocal cords; it is a psychological effect that makes the affected person completely unable to speak, even though the voice box shows no physical impairment. This is becoming more common in people with very stressful jobs, who are put under further stress because of the downturn in the economy. Having continual high levels of stress when one of the important functions that you perform is public speaking can trigger voice loss as a way of avoiding further stress.

OVERUSE VOICE
Each time you talk or sing, you use different muscles, including some in your mouth and throat. Just like other muscles in your body, overuse of the ones that help you speak can lead to fatigue, strain, and injury. The wrong technique can also bring on hoarseness.
